Housed in a round 31 mm case crafted from 18 kt yellow gold, this Datejust 31 follows Rolex's Oyster architecture — a monobloc middle case paired with a screw-down case back and screw-down winding crown featuring the Twinlock double waterproofness system. The sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant and fitted with a Cyclops lens over the date, while the Oyster construction delivers water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The white dial is appointed with Roman numeral gem-setting, offering a timelessly legible look framed by a bezel set with diamonds. It rides on an 18 kt yellow gold President bracelet composed of semi-circular three-piece links, secured by a concealed folding Crownclasp.
Powering the watch is the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex. It incorporates a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry, Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. Functions include centre hour, minute, and seconds hands, an instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds for precise time adjustment. The calibre is COSC certified.
