At 31 mm, this Datejust 31 features a round case crafted in White Rolesor, blending Oystersteel with white gold. The Oyster architecture employs a monobloc middle case with a screw-down case back and screw-down winding crown using the Twinlock double waterproofness system, offering water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet. The domed bezel is set with diamonds, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date completes the case.
The white mother-of-pearl dial is itself set with diamonds held in 18 kt gold settings, lending the face a richly layered appearance. An instantaneous date display with rapid setting and stop-seconds functionality is visible through the Cyclops lens. The Oyster bracelet is composed of three-piece solid links in Oystersteel and fastens with a folding Oysterclasp fitted with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Power comes from the Calibre 2236, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex. The oscillator features a Syloxi hairspring in silicon with patented geometry and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, achieving a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. Bidirectional self-winding via the Perpetual rotor delivers approximately 55 hours of power reserve, and the movement carries COSC certification.
