At 31 mm, this Datejust 31 is built around a round White Rolesor case — Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and white gold — featuring a monobloc middle case, solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown with Twinlock double waterproofness. The domed bezel is set with diamonds, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date completes the case. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The dark grey dial is itself set with diamonds in 18 kt gold settings, lending the piece a layered sense of depth and brilliance. An instantaneous date display with rapid setting and stop-seconds function for precise time setting round out the complications. The Jubilee bracelet in Oystersteel features five-piece links and fastens with a concealed folding Crownclasp.
Power comes from the Calibre 2236, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It carries a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry, high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and COSC chronometer certification with a rated precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing.
