Measuring 31 mm, this Datejust 31 is built around a round Oyster case crafted in Everose Rolesor, combining Oystersteel and Everose gold in the monobloc middle case with a solid screw-down case back. The screw-down winding crown features Rolex's Twinlock double waterproofness system, and the watch is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date completes the case, while the bezel is set with diamonds.
The white mother-of-pearl dial is itself set with diamonds held in 18 kt gold settings, and the instantaneous date display with rapid setting adds everyday practicality to the jewellery-like presentation. The Oyster bracelet, constructed from three-piece solid links in Everose Rolesor, fastens via a folding Oysterclasp with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Power comes from the Caliber 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It runs on bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, houses a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry and Paraflex shock absorbers, delivers a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, and provides approximately 55 hours of power reserve. Functions include centre hour, minute, and seconds hands, instantaneous date, and stop-seconds for precise time setting.
