At 31 mm, the Oyster case is crafted from Yellow Rolesor and features a monobloc middle case construction with a screw-down case back and screw-down winding crown employing the Twinlock double waterproofness system. The bezel is set with diamonds, while scratch-resistant sapphire crystal — complete with a Cyclops lens magnifying the date — protects the white dial beneath. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The white dial is dressed with Roman numeral hour markers, giving the watch a refined, classical character. The three-piece solid-link Oyster bracelet is also rendered in Yellow Rolesor and fastens with a folding Oysterclasp equipped with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link for a precise and comfortable fit.
Powering the watch is the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry, and Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification — combining COSC testing with Rolex's own post-casing certification — delivering a precision standard of -2/+2 seconds per day.
