Housed in a 31 mm Oyster case crafted from Yellow Rolesor — Rolex's blend of Oystersteel and yellow gold — this Datejust 31 features a bezel set with diamonds and a screw-down winding crown secured by the Twinlock double waterproofness system. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date tops the case, which is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The silver dial is itself set with diamonds, with the large VI marker distinguished by 11 diamonds, while Roman numerals complete the chapter ring. At the wrist, the Jubilee bracelet — also rendered in Yellow Rolesor with five-piece links — fastens via a concealed folding Crownclasp for a secure and seamless fit.
Powering the watch is the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex rated to -2/+2 seconds per day after casing and designated a Superlative Chronometer. The movement incorporates a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry, Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, and an approximately 55-hour power reserve, with stop-seconds for precise time setting.
