Measuring 31 mm across, the Oyster case is crafted from Yellow Rolesor — Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold — and features a diamond-set bezel. A screw-down case back and screw-down winding crown with Twinlock double waterproofness system contribute to water resistance rated to 100 metres / 330 feet, while the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal incorporates a Cyclops lens over the date window.
The olive green dial is itself set with diamonds held in 18 kt gold settings, lending depth and brilliance to the face. Hands indicate hours, minutes, and seconds at centre, with an instantaneous date and stop-seconds function rounding out the display. The three-piece solid-link Oyster bracelet in matching Yellow Rolesor secures via a folding Oysterclasp equipped with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Powering the watch is Rolex's self-winding Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical movement with bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor. The oscillator employs a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry alongside Paraflex shock absorbers, delivering a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing and a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification, combining COSC testing with Rolex's own post-casing verification.
