Crafted in White Rolesor — Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and white gold — the 31mm round case of this Datejust features a monobloc middle case, solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown with Twinlock double waterproofness. The bezel is set with diamonds, while scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date window sits above the dark grey dial, which carries Roman numeral hour markers. Water resistance extends to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The dark grey dial is complemented by an instantaneous date display with rapid setting, driven by the Calibre 2236 — a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement by Manufacture Rolex. Precision runs to -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, with a Syloxi silicon hairspring of patented geometry, high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, and bidirectional self-winding via a Perpetual rotor delivering approximately 55 hours of power reserve.
