At 31 mm, this Datejust 31 is built around a Yellow Rolesor case — Rolex's own combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold — featuring a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and a screw-down winding crown with the Twinlock double waterproofness system. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date sits above a domed bezel, and the case is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The champagne-colour dial is fitted with index hour markers and is complemented by an Oyster bracelet made from the same Yellow Rolesor material. Three-piece solid links give the bracelet its structured feel, while a folding Oysterclasp with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link handles secure fastening and easy sizing adjustments on the wrist.
Power comes from the Calibre 2236, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It delivers a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, an approximately 55-hour power reserve, and features a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry alongside Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification, reflecting both COSC testing and Rolex's own post-casing standards.
