Crafted from Yellow Rolesor — Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold — the 31 mm Oyster case features a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and a domed bezel. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens magnifies the date display, while the screw-down winding crown employs the Twinlock double waterproofness system, keeping the watch waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The white mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds held in 18 kt gold settings, lending the piece its distinctive character. The five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet shares the same Yellow Rolesor construction as the case and fastens with a concealed folding Crownclasp.
Inside runs the Calibre 2236, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It features a Syloxi hairspring in silicon with patented geometry, high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, an approximately 55-hour power reserve, and a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification, reflecting both COSC testing and Rolex's own post-casing standards.
