Sized at 31 mm, this Datejust 31 is built around a Yellow Rolesor construction, combining Oystersteel and yellow gold throughout both the case and bracelet. The fluted bezel and concealed folding Crownclasp complement the Jubilee bracelet's five-piece links, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date completes the case. A screw-down crown with Twinlock double waterproofness system and a monobloc middle case deliver water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The silver dial is set with diamonds, with Roman numeral hour markers and a large VI set with 11 diamonds. Inside, Rolex Calibre 2236 — a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement — offers a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The oscillator features a Syloxi hairspring in silicon with patented geometry and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, with bidirectional self-winding via a Perpetual rotor and approximately 55 hours of power reserve.
The movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification, reflecting both COSC testing and Rolex's own certification after casing. Functions include centre hour, minute, and seconds hands, instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds for precise time setting.
