At 31 mm, the Datejust 31 is built around a monobloc middle case with a screw-down case back and screw-down Twinlock winding crown, delivering water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet. The domed bezel is set with diamonds, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date keeps the champagne-colour index dial easy to read at a glance.
Power comes from the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex. The oscillator features a Syloxi hairspring in silicon with patented geometry and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, contributing to a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing and a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Bidirectional winding via the Perpetual rotor keeps the movement running efficiently, and the watch carries Superlative Chronometer certification — reflecting both COSC testing and Rolex certification after casing.
The Jubilee bracelet, composed of five-piece links in Yellow Rolesor, fastens with a concealed folding Crownclasp, completing a cohesive look between the bracelet and the case.
