At 31 mm, this Datejust 31 is built around a monobloc middle case in Yellow Rolesor — Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold — with a screw-down case back and screw-down winding crown featuring the Twinlock double waterproofness system, rated to 100 metres. The domed bezel is set with diamonds, and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date completes the case.
The olive green dial is itself set with diamonds, with the large VI marker featuring 11 diamonds alongside Roman numeral hour indices. The Oyster bracelet is constructed from three-piece solid links in matching Yellow Rolesor and fastens with a folding Oysterclasp fitted with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Inside runs the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex. It offers bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry, Paraflex shock absorbers, stop-seconds for precise time setting, and approximately 55 hours of power reserve. The movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification — COSC testing followed by Rolex certification after casing — to a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day.
