A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens magnifies the date, while the screw-down winding crown employs a Twinlock double waterproofness system, keeping the watch waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet. The case back is also screw-down, forming a monobloc middle case construction.
The black mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds held in 18 kt gold settings, lending the surface a richly detailed character. The three-piece solid-link Oyster bracelet is rendered in matching Yellow Rolesor and secured by a folding Oysterclasp fitted with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Inside runs the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry, and Paraflex shock absorbers. Precision is rated at -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, and the movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification, reflecting both COSC and Rolex's own post-casing standards.
