Measuring 36 mm across, the Oystersteel case of this Datejust is built around a monobloc middle case with a screw-down case back and screw-down winding crown incorporating Rolex's Twinlock double waterproofness system, rated to 100 metres. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens magnifies the date window, while the bezel is set throughout with diamonds for a striking frame around the dial.
That dial — described as jubilee silver — carries diamonds mounted in 18 kt gold settings, giving the face a richly detailed character. The five-piece link Jubilee bracelet in Oystersteel secures via a folding Oysterclasp fitted with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link, allowing easy on-wrist adjustment.
Inside runs the Calibre 3235, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It delivers a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, approximately 70 hours of power reserve, and features a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring alongside Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement holds Superlative Chronometer certification, reflecting both COSC testing and Rolex's own certification process after casing.
