Housed in a 36 mm Oystersteel case built around a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and screw-down winding crown with Twinlock double waterproofness, this Datejust is rated waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal features a Cyclops lens over the date window, keeping the display legible at a glance.
The black mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds held in 18 kt gold settings, while the bezel continues that diamond-set treatment for a consistent decorative register across the watch. The Oystersteel Jubilee bracelet closes via a folding Oysterclasp equipped with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Powering the watch is the Calibre 3235, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex. It offers a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, an approximately 70-hour power reserve, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, and a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring with Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification, reflecting both COSC testing and Rolex's own post-casing standards.
