Housed in a 36mm monobloc Oyster case crafted from 18kt white gold, the Day-Date 36 ref. 128239-0025 features a fluted bezel, a solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown equipped with Rolex's Twinlock double waterproofness system. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date completes the case, which is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The silver dial displays the Day-Date's signature dual apertures for instantaneous day and date readout, supported by center hour, minute, and seconds hands with a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. The watch rides on a diamond-set President bracelet in 18kt white gold, secured by a concealed folding Crownclasp.
Power comes from the Calibre 3255 manufacture Rolex perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement, which is COSC certified and delivers precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The oscillator employs a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring alongside high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, and bidirectional winding via the Perpetual rotor provides a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
