The Day-Date 18238 houses its automatic, self-winding Rolex movement within a 36mm round case crafted from 18K yellow gold. A screw-down crown and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal round out the case details, while the fixed fluted bezel frames the champagne dial dressed with luminescent gold-tone hands and diamond hour markers.
Produced in 1990, this example is in pristine condition. The diamonds on the dial were custom set after manufacture and are not factory original. The leather strap and gold-plated pin buckle are custom aftermarket pieces. The watch carries Swiss Made designation and offers day, date, hour, minute, and second functions.
