This Rolex Day-Date ref. 18238, produced in 1988, is built around a 36mm 18K yellow gold case topped by a fixed fluted bezel. The silver dial is fitted with diamond hour markers and yellow-gold hands, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the display. Day, date, hour, minute, and second functions are all accounted for, driven by a self-winding automatic movement with a double quick-set date function — a Swiss Made certified chronometer at its core.
The watch is offered in pristine condition and has been fully serviced and polished by in-house watchmakers. The diamonds set on the middle bracelet links were custom-placed after manufacture and are not factory original. The leather strap with gold-plated buckle is a custom aftermarket fitting. A screw-down crown completes the case.
