Housed in a 40 mm 18 kt yellow gold Oyster case, this Day-Date 40 features a fluted bezel, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens over the date, a solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown with Twinlock double waterproofness. The case is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet and built around a monobloc middle case construction.
The silver dial is equipped with a Chromalight display offering long-lasting blue luminescence for legibility in low light. Powering the watch is the Calibre 3255 perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement — a Manufacture Rolex calibre certified as a Superlative Chronometer to a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
