A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens over the date completes the case, which is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The ice blue dial is itself set with diamonds, while 10 baguette-cut diamonds mark the hours. The platinum President bracelet, built from semi-circular three-piece links, secures via a concealed folding Crownclasp for a seamless profile on the wrist.
Inside beats the Calibre 3255, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex with bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, approximately 70 hours of power reserve, and a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The oscillator incorporates a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, and the movement holds Superlative Chronometer status through COSC and subsequent Rolex certification after casing.
