At 40 mm, the Oyster case is constructed from Yellow Rolesor, Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold. A fixed yellow gold bezel carries an engraved tachymetric scale, while the screw-down winding crown employs the Triplock triple waterproofness system, and a solid case back seals the watch to 100 metres / 330 feet. The crystal is scratch-resistant sapphire.
The black dial is appointed with golden counter rings and a Chromalight display offering long-lasting blue luminescence for high legibility. Driving the chronograph functions is the Calibre 4131 — a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex, COSC certified to a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. It operates with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
The watch is worn on an Oyster bracelet in Yellow Rolesor, composed of three-piece solid links and secured by a folding Oysterlock safety clasp with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link. Offered as a complete set including the Rolex box and Rolex card.
