Housed in a 40 mm Oyster case crafted from Yellow Rolesor — Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold — this Cosmograph Daytona carries a fixed yellow gold bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale. The monobloc middle case is secured by a screw-down case back and a screw-down Triplock winding crown, delivering water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial beneath.
The bright black dial is set with diamonds in 18 kt gold settings and features a Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence for legibility in low light. Chronograph functions are distributed across a centre seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, with a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock rounding out the subdial layout. The Yellow Rolesor Oyster bracelet fastens with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp equipped with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Power comes from the self-winding Calibre 4131, a COSC-certified perpetual mechanical chronograph movement offering approximately 72 hours of power reserve, a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock absorbers. This example is presented in mint condition and includes the original Rolex Box and Rolex Card from 2024.
