Housed in a 40 mm Oyster case crafted from Yellow Rolesor, this Cosmograph Daytona brings together Oystersteel and yellow gold throughout the case and three-piece solid-link Oyster bracelet. The fixed yellow gold bezel carries an engraved tachymetric scale, while a screw-down Triplock winding crown and solid case back provide water resistance to 100 metres. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial beneath.
The white dial presents three subdials with golden counter rings: a small seconds display at 6 o'clock, a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock. Chromalight hour and minute hands deliver a long-lasting blue luminescence for legibility in low light. The Oyster bracelet closes with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp equipped with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Powering the watch is Rolex Calibre 4131, a perpetual mechanical chronograph movement that is self-winding via a bidirectional Perpetual rotor. The oscillator features a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, with a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, COSC certified, and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
