At the heart of this Daytona sits the 40 mm Oyster case crafted from 18kt yellow gold, featuring a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and a screw-down winding crown with Triplock triple waterproofness — keeping the watch waterproof to 100 metres. The black monobloc Cerachrom bezel in ceramic carries a moulded tachymetric scale, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial below.
The black dial is accented by golden counter rings and equipped with a Chromalight display offering long-lasting blue luminescence for strong legibility. Chronograph functions are laid out across a centre seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, with a small seconds hand positioned at 6 o'clock and stop seconds for precise time setting.
Power comes from the Calibre 4131, a COSC-certified perpetual mechanical self-winding chronograph movement with bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The Oysterflex band — constructed from flexible metal blades overmoulded with high-performance elastomer — secures via a folding Oysterlock safety clasp with the Rolex Glidelock extension system.
