At 40 mm, the yellow gold Oyster case features a monobloc middle case construction with a screw-down case back and screw-down winding crown incorporating the Triplock triple waterproofness system, providing water resistance to 100 metres. The black monobloc Cerachrom bezel in ceramic carries a moulded tachymetric scale, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial below.
The white dial is accented by golden counter rings and equipped with a Chromalight display offering long-lasting blue luminescence for low-light legibility. Chronograph functions are delivered via a centre seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, with stop seconds for precise time setting. The Oysterflex band — constructed from flexible metal blades overmoulded with high-performance elastomer — fastens with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp featuring the Rolex Glidelock extension system.
Power comes from the self-winding mechanical Calibre 4131 manufacture Rolex, featuring a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The movement is COSC certified.
