Housed in a 40mm round Oystersteel case, the Daytona 126503-0001 features a fixed 18K yellow gold bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale and a screw-down crown equipped with the triplock triple waterproofing system. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the white dial, which is fitted with luminescent index hour markers and luminescent hands. The watch carries a water resistance rating of 100 metres / 330 feet.
Powering the chronograph is the Rolex calibre 4131, a self-winding mechanical movement offering approximately 72 hours of power reserve. Timekeeping functions include central hour and minute hands, a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock, a centre chronograph seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, along with a stop-seconds function for precise time setting.
The watch is worn on an Oyster bracelet composed of three-piece solid links in 18K yellow gold and stainless steel, secured by a folding Oysterlock safety buckle with an Easylink 5mm comfort extension link.
