Housed in a 40mm 18K yellow gold round case with a screw-down back and screw-down crown featuring Rolex's triplock triple waterproofing system, this GMT-Master II is built to exacting standards. The bidirectional rotating 24-hour graduated bezel carries a two-colour grey and black Cerachrom insert in ceramic with moulded numerals and graduations, while the black dial features luminescent dot and index hour markers alongside luminescent hands. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3285 perpetual self-winding movement, offering a GMT complication with independent rapid-setting of the hour hand for a second time zone, instantaneous date display, stop-seconds for precise time setting, and approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The case is water-resistant to 100 metres / 330 feet.
