The Twinlock double waterproofness system keeps the watch secure to 100 metres / 330 feet, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date ensures clear legibility. Framing the case, the bezel is set with 44 brilliant-cut diamonds for a thoroughly refined presence.
The dark grey dial presents index hour markers alongside a Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence. The instantaneous date with rapid setting, stop-seconds function, and centre hour, minute, and seconds hands complete a highly functional layout within an elegantly appointed face.
Powering the watch is the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex, featuring a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry and Paraflex shock absorbers. Bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor delivers approximately 55 hours of power reserve, and the movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification — COSC plus Rolex certification after casing — with a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day.
