At 28 mm, the Oyster case is crafted in Yellow Rolesor, blending Oystersteel with yellow gold across the monobloc middle case, solid case back, and screw-down winding crown. The crown employs Rolex's Twinlock double waterproofness system, and the watch is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens magnifies the date display.
The champagne-colour dial is fitted with index hour markers and kept legible by centre hour, minute, and seconds hands. An instantaneous date with rapid setting and a stop-seconds function round out the time-display features. The three-piece solid-link Oyster bracelet, also in Yellow Rolesor, secures via a folding Oysterclasp with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Power comes from the Calibre 2236, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex. The oscillator uses a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers. Bidirectional winding via the Perpetual rotor delivers approximately 55 hours of power reserve, and the movement holds Superlative Chronometer certification — COSC-tested and then certified by Rolex after casing — to a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day.
