At 28 mm, the Oyster case is built around a monobloc middle case with a solid case back and screw-down winding crown featuring Rolex's Twinlock double waterproofness system, offering water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet. A fluted yellow-gold bezel frames the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which carries a Cyclops lens positioned over the date window for easy reading.
The champagne-colour dial is laid out with Roman numerals, lending the watch a refined, classical character. The matching Oyster bracelet — composed of three-piece solid links in Yellow Rolesor — fastens with a folding Oysterclasp equipped with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Power comes from the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex. It delivers a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, carries Superlative Chronometer certification (COSC plus Rolex certification after casing), and provides a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The oscillator employs a Syloxi hairspring in silicon with patented geometry alongside high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, and the movement winds bidirectionally via a Perpetual rotor.
