At 28 mm, the Oyster case is constructed from 18 kt Everose gold with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and a screw-down Twinlock winding crown that delivers waterproofness to 100 metres. A fluted bezel and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date complete the case.
The aubergine dial is set with diamonds held in 18 kt gold settings, lending the piece a richly jewelled character. The President bracelet, rendered in 18 kt Everose gold with semi-circular three-piece links, secures via a concealed folding Crownclasp.
Powering the watch is the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement manufactured by Rolex. It features a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry, Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The movement holds Superlative Chronometer certification, reflecting both COSC testing and Rolex's own post-casing verification.
