Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date protects the dial, and the watch is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The champagne dial is dressed with Roman numerals and a date complication, reading the time through centre hour, minute, and seconds hands with instantaneous date and stop-seconds functions. The President bracelet in 18kt yellow gold features semi-circular three-piece links and fastens with a concealed folding Crownclasp.
Power comes from the Calibre 2236, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement from Manufacture Rolex. Its Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry and Paraflex shock absorbers contribute to a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The movement holds Superlative Chronometer certification, reflecting both COSC standards and Rolex's own post-casing verification.
