Crafted from 18 kt Everose gold, the 42 mm Oyster case features a monobloc middle case, solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown secured by the Twinlock double waterproofness system — keeping the watch waterproof to 100 metres. The fluted, bidirectional rotatable Ring Command bezel is central to the Sky-Dweller's complication-setting system, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens over the date ensures clear legibility at a glance.
The chocolate dial is fitted with a Chromalight display offering long-lasting blue luminescence. Month indication is delivered through 12 apertures around the dial's circumference, an instantaneous annual calendar appears at 3 o'clock, and a 24-hour off-centre disc tracks a second time zone — all driven by the Calibre 9002, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement with dual time zones and annual calendar. The movement delivers a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, draws on a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring with Paraflex shock absorbers, and offers approximately 72 hours of power reserve.
The watch is worn on an Oysterflex bracelet, constructed from flexible metal blades overmoulded with high-performance elastomer and secured by a folding Oysterclasp with the Rolex Glidelock extension system for a precise and comfortable fit.
