At 42mm, the Sky-Dweller's Oyster case is constructed from Yellow Rolesor, blending Oystersteel with yellow gold. A fluted, bidirectional rotatable Rolex Ring Command bezel crowns the case, while the monobloc middle case, solid case back, and screw-down Twinlock winding crown deliver waterproofness to 100 metres / 330 feet. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date completes the case presentation.
The bright black dial features a Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence for high legibility. Month indication is shown through 12 apertures around the dial's circumference, while the instantaneous annual calendar appears at 3 o'clock alongside a 24-hour off-centre disc for a second time zone — all managed through the Ring Command bezel without a pusher.
Power comes from the Calibre 9002, a COSC-certified perpetual mechanical self-winding movement with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, and approximately 72 hours of power reserve with a precision rating of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The watch is finished on a Jubilee bracelet with five-piece links and a folding Oysterclasp featuring an Easylink 5mm comfort extension link.
