Constructed from Yellow Rolesor — a combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold — the 42mm Oyster case features a monobloc middle case, solid case back, and screw-down winding crown with Twinlock double waterproofness. The fluted, bidirectional rotatable Rolex Ring Command bezel is equally functional as it is distinctive, while scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date and 100 metres of water resistance round out a thoroughly engineered exterior.
The bright black dial is equipped with a Chromalight display offering long-lasting blue luminescence for legibility in low light. Month is indicated through 12 apertures around the dial's circumference, the date appears instantaneously at 3 o'clock, and a 24-hour off-centre disc tracks a second time zone — all driven by the Calibre 9002, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement with an annual calendar complication, precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, and approximately 72 hours of power reserve. The oscillator features a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement is COSC certified.
The watch is presented on an Oyster bracelet in Yellow Rolesor, composed of three-piece solid links and secured by a folding Oysterclasp with an Easylink 5mm comfort extension link.
