A paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers contribute to the movement's resilience.
The 42 mm Oyster case features Yellow Rolesor construction, a solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown with Twinlock double waterproofness, achieving water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet. The fluted, bidirectional rotatable Rolex Ring Command bezel is the interface for the annual calendar complication, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date keeps the intense white dial easy to read. Chromalight display hands and indices provide long-lasting blue luminescence.
The five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet is rendered in Yellow Rolesor to match the case, secured by a folding Oysterclasp with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link. Functions include centre hour, minute, and seconds hands, a 24-hour display on an off-centre disc, a second time zone, instantaneous annual calendar at 3 o'clock with rapid date setting, month display via 12 apertures around the dial circumference, and stop-seconds for precise time setting.
