At 42mm, the Sky-Dweller's Oyster case is crafted in White Rolesor, blending Oystersteel with white gold across the case and fluted bidirectional rotatable Rolex Ring Command bezel. The monobloc middle case is fitted with a solid case back and a screw-down Twinlock winding crown, delivering water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date completes the case.
The black dial features a Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence for high legibility. The month is indicated through 12 apertures arranged around the dial's circumference, while an instantaneous annual calendar sits at 3 o'clock and a 24-hour off-centre disc shows a second time zone — all driven by the Calibre 9002, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement with COSC certification, approximately 72 hours of power reserve, and precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing. A paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers support the oscillator.
