Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date protects the slate dial, which carries luminescent index hour markers and luminescent hands for legibility in low light.
Powering the watch is a Rolex Perpetual self-winding automatic movement offering dual time zones and an annual calendar. Functions include a 24-hour display on an off-centre disc, a second time zone, an instantaneous annual calendar at 3 o'clock, a month display through 12 apertures around the dial's circumference, and stop-seconds for precise setting.
