A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date sits atop the champagne dial, which employs a Chromalight display offering long-lasting blue luminescence for legibility in low light.
Driving the Sky-Dweller is the Calibre 9002, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement that manages dual time zones and an annual calendar. A 24-hour display on an off-centre disc shows the second time zone, while 12 apertures around the dial's circumference indicate the month and an instantaneous date display sits at 3 o'clock. The movement features a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding via a Perpetual rotor, a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, and is COSC certified to a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing.
The watch is worn on an 18 kt yellow gold Jubilee bracelet with five-piece links, secured by a folding Oysterclasp with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link for easy on-wrist adjustment.
