This limited edition timepiece is a true masterpiece, with only 18 pieces available. The case measures 44mm in diameter and 21mm in height, crafted from black DLC titanium and featuring sapphire apertures on the sides. The case back is also made of black DLC titanium, while the case band is a single-piece sapphire crystal. Winding and time-setting can be done via two 18k rose gold bows, adding a touch of luxury to the design.
The crystal of this watch is a unique domed sapphire with double anti-reflective treatment, ensuring clear visibility of the dial and hands. Speaking of which, the dial is a stunning blue PVD with rose gold plated engraving of zodiac signs, complemented by Jacob & Co.'s signature designed hands in rose gold. The movement of this watch is a Calibre exclusive manufacture Jacob & Co. manual winding JCAM19, with a diameter of 34.55mm and a height of 16.50mm (11.70mm excluding top stone).
With 447 components, this movement is made of titanium and boasts a power reserve of 48 hours. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vib/h (4 Hz) and has 43 jewels. The system is a vertical movement with 3 arms, completing a full revolution in 10 minutes around a central axis. The flying tourbillon cage rotates in 60 seconds, while a blue lacquered globe also rotates in 60 seconds. The patented differential gears system allows for the 12/6 o'clock position to be maintained.
On top of the movement, you will find a yellow citrine Jacob cut® with 288 facets and approximately 2 carats. The frame carries 3 hand-painted planets, while the aventurine base rotates counter-clockwise 360 degrees in 10 minutes, carrying 7 planets made of cabochon cut precious stones half-spheres.
