Introduced in the 1990s, the Speedmaster Reduced brought the celebrated Moonwatch aesthetic to a slimmer 39 mm stainless steel case with a 45 mm lug-to-lug span, making it an accessible entry point into the Speedmaster lineage for a wider range of wrist sizes. The fixed aluminum bezel carries a tachymeter scale, a nod to the model's motorsport roots, while the solid case back bears the Omega hippocampus emblem in high relief.
The matte black dial is fitted with luminescent hands and indexes for reliable legibility in low light, all shielded behind a Hesalite acrylic crystal that stays true to the original Moonwatch specification. Chronograph and small-seconds complications round out the functionality, supported by a water resistance rating of 30 meters.
Beating at the heart of the watch is the Omega Calibre 3220 automatic chronograph movement, offering a 40-hour power reserve. A stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp completes the package, keeping the overall look cohesive and well-suited to everyday wear.
