Crafted from Everose Rolesor — Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and Everose gold — the 36 mm round case of the Datejust 126201-0023 features a monobloc middle case, solid case back, and a screw-down winding crown with Twinlock double waterproofness. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date sits above the domed bezel, and the watch is waterproof to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The slate dial draws the eye with Roman VI and IX hour markers rendered in 18 kt gold and set with 24 diamonds, bringing a refined decorative accent to the classic Datejust layout. The five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet shares the same Everose Rolesor construction as the case and fastens via a folding Oysterclasp equipped with an Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link.
Inside runs the Calibre 3235, a perpetual mechanical self-winding movement by Rolex rated to -2/+2 seconds per day after casing and COSC certified. The oscillator features a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional winding is handled by the Perpetual rotor, and the movement delivers an approximately 70-hour power reserve with an instantaneous date and stop-seconds function.
